Foods that Heal

So when prospective employers ask me what I've been doing since I got laid off, I can't tell them I've been farming,  learning about herbal remedies, native food, gluten-free cooking and other non-mainstream ideas.  So I tell them I've been taking on-line courses, which is true.  On this page I will expand on the many cool things I've been learning, and try to embed some links to videos or books I have found helpful. So here is my first attempt at pickling and fermenting.  The pickles turned out pretty good, but the cabbage should have been fermented without the bitter orange rind.
